Papers [manuscript]. 1970-1978.

Speeches, press releases, correspondence, subject files, reports, regional studies, newscuttings, Cabinet documents, ministerial briefing notes, electoral material, departmental minutes, photographs and other papers relating mainly to Uren's period as Minister of Urban and Regional Development 1973-75, and also to his time as Deputy Leader of the Opposition 1976-77. The papers are largely concerned with issues of urban and regional development, local government, and the environment. Some papers reflecting Uren's involvement in the ALP, and his interest in defence and foreign affairs are also included. Many of the papers were assembled by Uren's Press Secretary, Clem Lloyd.
